item has been added -- a very nice one!
- For an example of interpolation to the wing data set, please download
Brad Miller's ps file. You can see something
similar to the Runge phenomenon. Parts of the curve seem to be missing
because of a Postscript "out of range" issue. The "direction" of the interpolant
is the same direction as the nth derivative of the curve -- 70th in this case.

- The data sets for Project 2 will be posted Wednesday 27 Feb.
The machine on which one nice data set resides has been down since this afternoon.
(Invaded by someone who wanted to use the machine as
a spam email distribution site.)
I expect it to be available by the afternoon tomorrow. That's as long as I'll
wait at least. Keep testing with your own mini-data sets!

- Just a reminder: A mock-midterm will be posted on 28 Feb.
We will review in class on Tuesday 5 March,
