Syllabus:

Primary topics: Computational Basics, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Visualization, Discrete Math

Topics will be explored using Mathematica.

No required text for this class. Optional text for advanced study: Mathematical Principles for Scientific Computing and Visualization

Grading:

4 homework assignments (45%), 1 midterm (25%), 1 final (25%), Quizes (5%)

Grades: 97+=A+, 90+=A, 87+=B+, 80+=B, 70+=C, 60+=D, 50+=E.

All homework will be submitted as Mathematica notebooks. Late work will be penalized at 5% per day.
