Objectives: Students will learn basic CAGD techniques. They will be able to ananlyze geometric problems and implement solutions.
The class will cover the text The Essentials of CAGD, AK Peters, Boston. The class is an undergraduate introduction to topics in CAGD. Students will learn basic geometry concepts and how they relate to algorithms in Geometric Modeling. Click here for the material that was covered in last year's class. Grading

There will be four programming projects, a midterm, and a final. Each project: 12.5%, each exam: 25% of the total grade.

Programming Assignments

Use any programming language that you feel comfortable with, but only hand in code when asked to do so. Quality of submitted work is expected to be comparable to postscript output. Teamwork is welcome, and a team has to do more work than an individual; this should be discussed ahead of time with the instructor. Late work will be discounted at a rate of 5% per week day (counting weekends).
