Professional Interests:

My research interests are in the fields of geometric design and scientific visualization. My primary focus is on mathematical definitions of shape and related topics such as methods for quantitative comparisons of shape, methods for identifying similar and different shapes, and optimal representations of shape.

As illustrated by the three books I have co-authored, I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and passion for mathematics, geometric design, and scientific visualization. My focus is on undergraduate education with the hope of inspiring the next generation.
