Syllabus

This is an introductory class to Computer Graphics. We will cover basic interactive techniques, transformation, lighting, shading, modeling, and some visualization.

Prerequisites: Linear Algebra, Programming in C or C++

Texts: Required: Hearn&Baker, Optional: PLA

Objectives

Students will learn fundamental Graphics concepts. Students will be able to analyze problems and provide practical solutions. There will be four programming projects, a midterm, and a final. Percentages: midterm 25%, final 25%, each project: 12.5%.

All tests and projects will be handled according to ASU's rules of academic integrity.
